Curriculum

Our curriculum is underpinned by the principles that everyone is different, everyone is special, and everyone is our neighbour, reflecting our belief in the inherent worth of every individual and our commitment to nurturing a caring, inclusive community. These principles are rooted in the parable of the Good Samaritan, which teaches us to look beyond differences, recognise the value of every person, and take responsibility for one another with compassion and kindness.

Our Christian values of hope, trust, friendship, justice, and forgiveness are woven throughout the curriculum, shaping the way we teach and learn. We aim to foster hope by inspiring pupils to believe in a brighter future and their ability to make a difference. Trust is cultivated through strong relationships and a safe environment where every child feels valued. Friendship is promoted through collaboration, mutual respect, and empathy. Justice is central to our teaching, encouraging pupils to challenge inequality and stand up for fairness. Forgiveness is modelled and encouraged as we learn to accept mistakes, resolve conflicts, and grow together.

Through this approach, we prepare our pupils not only to achieve academically but also to live out these values in their daily lives, shaping a better future for themselves and others.
