St Andrew's Church

We have a strong and valued partnership with St Andrew's Church in Headington, which plays an important role in the life of our school community. As a Church of England school, our Christian ethos is at the heart of everything we do, and our connection with the church enriches this in many ways.

Each week, the vicar or curate visits the school to lead collective worship, offering spiritual guidance and encouraging children to reflect on our school values. We also visit St Andrew’s Church throughout the year for special services that mark key moments in the Christian calendar, such as Harvest, Christmas, and Easter. These occasions provide a wonderful opportunity for our whole school community to come together in worship and celebration.

Beyond services, our partnership extends to charity and community initiatives, supporting causes that align with both the school’s and the church’s commitment to justice, kindness, and service. Parents are always warmly invited to attend these services, as well as events organised specifically for families.
